Christianity came to us in the first century. It began with the teaching of John the Baptist to prepare the chosen Hebrew people with essential repentance of sin. After which the promised Messiah was manifest and his holy blood sacrifice on the cross was paid. Even the whole canon of the Bible was written and closed by the end of the first century.
No verified heavenly truth came in the second century. Further divine authority over additional doctrines was denied and rejected in the last page of the Holy Scripture.
Revelation 22:18,19: ‘I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophesy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophesy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.’ (This is a reflection of Deuteronomy 12:32)
Conclusion: Thus, no additional teaching from after the first century has any authoritative foundation. Hence, all additions to genuine Christianity are groundless and must be classified as a separate and heretical religious system.
